Activities related to collecting data and analyzing the e-scooter market and investigating crashes involving e-scooter riders have now been completed. These activities included a review of available data sources, scientific literature, and existing safety indicators related to the use of e-scooters.

The next project milestone is the preparation of the final report, which will present the results from the statistical analysis of e-scooter incidents and crashes from the Republic of Croatia’s database. This report will analyze accessible statistical data from Croatia and Slovenia, with a comparison to other European Union countries. The objective is to assess the extent to which e-scooter safety represents a significant traffic safety issue and to place national findings within a broader European context.

Another report will provide an update on the current state of the e-scooter market in Croatia and the EU.
